One of the things that I really appreciate about Attack on Titan is that it never panders to any specific audience. The English dubs for Season 1 were well-done, and I thought that they did a good job in catering to the American audience. However, there were a few things that I found strange. For example, during the first half of the season, there was an abrupt change in voice actor for some characters. This made it difficult to understand who was speaking at any given time, which sometimes led to confusion. Furthermore, some scenes were changed so that they didn’t make as much sense from a translation standpoint.
