The final episode of the Attack on Titan season 4 was released today and we thought it would be a good idea to do an English dub review.
Overall, the dub was quite good. The acting was generally good and the voiceovers were clear and concise. However, there were a few errors that could have been easily corrected. For example, during the climax of the episode where Eren is fighting the Titans, he has a giant hole in his chest but still fights. This should have been cut from the dub because it made it difficult to understand what was happening. Additionally, there were some awkward moments when characters were speaking in different languages. For example, when Marley is explaining to Yeager why she wants to kill all of humanity, her Russian accent is heard properly but her English accent is not. This can be confusing for viewers at first but it gets smoother as the viewer gets used to the character’s dialect.
Overall, though there were some errors, the dub overall did a decent job with portraying the events of this season.
