Episode 24 of Attack on Titan: The Final Season brings us back to the Yeager family basement, where we learn more about the Titans and their connection to the world outside the walls. Things quickly go from bad to worse for our two protagonists as the Survey Corps arrives, intent on destroying them. Fortunately, Eren and his friends are there to help out, and together they manage to save the day.
While I was overall pleased with this episode, there were some issues that I had with it. For one thing, I didn’t like how sudden things felt. You don’t get a great sense of pacing until later in the episode. Additionally, I didn’t care for how little action took place in between scenes. This made it difficult to follow what was going on.
